the room included convenient amenities like a hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. the bed was comfortable. i appreciated the quiet atmosphere. the staff were friendly and quick to help with my requests.
the bathroom size felt a bit small for storing toiletries.

the location of the hotel was very convenient. it was just a short walk to many attractions! the breakfast offered a wide variety of options.
the room i stayed in was quite small. the bathroom had some mold in the shower, not ideal, i found this!

friendly staff convenient location ideal location poor soundproofing dirty carpet stained socks
the hotel staff was friendly. i found the location quite convenient. it was not too far from the main areas i wanted to visit. the location was ideal to get to grassmarket and the castle.
the soundproofing was not good. i could easily hear the guests chatting in the next room. the carpet in the room was dirty. my white socks got stained when i walked on the carpet directly.
